Greg has got the experience, knowledge and people skills to get you to where you want to be. I work long and unpredictable hours, however Greg was able to fit around my schedule and come out to my home to carry out sessions. If you have a question he will either give you or find out the answer with the knowledge that there is sound evidence behind it.
I recently had problems with my back, and if it hadn't been for Greg, I may not have gone to see a specialist where I found out I needed an operation. As soon as I am able to, I will be carrying out rehabilitation training with Greg to get me back to where I was.
I have worked with Greg since I was 15 initially as part of the Clackmannanshire Colts U18 team where I began to learn about sports conditioning. Within 6 months I was already able to carry out complex exercise such as overhead squat and really noticed a difference in my speed and strength during games.
As with any athlete I had injuries but Greg was able to provide the best support including referring me to specialists where Greg was able to devise programmes alongside the rehabilitation.
I then began to train with Greg separately whilst competing for Scotland U18/U20 Rugby League teams which is where I noticed the biggest difference. Greg took the time to look at my running technique and improved evasive running ability. I am very grateful to Greg for where I have ended up today in my career.

He really took the time to gauge what I was looking to get out of my sessions. I was really impressed with how he broke down simple movements to spot any weaknesses that also needed addressing.
He thoroughly plans out sessions weeks ahead of doing them and comes along with previous weeks weights, muscle/fat mass etc all graphed out which makes it all easier to understand. His knowledge on all things exercise based seems to know no bounds which made me feel in very capable hands.
When I told Greg I was expecting my third child he was great at making any changes necessary to adapt our sessions appropriately.
Greg is an excellent coach and mentor. He has superior knowledge of strength and conditioning training and has very good people skills allowing him to work with athletes of all abilities. When I started working with Greg I was a national Squad member with the Scottish Golf Union. He worked extremely hard with me teaching me proper technique on all lifts allowing me to develop my body which helped take my game to the next level. Greg also did an excellent job coaching beginners who trained with us. He was able to take them from complete beginners to competent lifters. Greg went above and beyond to help train our group. He travelled after his work in the evenings to coach us at a very small gym which he did free of charge. This showing he is willing to do extra to further his career development and expertise.
